I was tagged by both

and

so I better get to posting this! lol
1. Post these rules.
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random (hopefully interesting) facts about themselves.
3. Tags should write a journal of these facts.
4. At the end of the post 8 more bloggers are tagged and named.
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them that they're tagged.
1. I am determined to conquer my fear of rollercoasters. I'm slowly getting up the nerve to go on another big one!
2. If I'm doing anything other than drawing or doing something art-related, I have a hard time paying attention.
3. I have a scar on my back that I didn't know I had until I got a tattoo there. Apparently it was from chickenpox? That's what my mom says anyway!
4. If I could have a million pets, I would.
5. I've seen all my favorite bands I've ever wanted to see (most of them more than once) except for The Used and Rise Against. Soon enough, that needs to happen!
6. I worry way too much, about little things that don't matter. I am a "worrier." I blame my grandmother for inheriting that from her!
7. I have no sense of direction and can get easily lost.
8. I've been trying to not spend as much time on the computer, but it's not working. I'm on it almost all the time when I'm not working and have nothing else to do. I need to stop that!
Now, I have to tag 8 other people sooooo...

But to respond:
*I didn't know you were afraid of rollercoasters! Aww, hon. Firstly, if you're going to break yourself in slowly, first do wooden ones. Don't sit in the front or back. Then work your way up slowly to one that maybe only goes upside down once, and don't sit in the front or back. I actually love rollercoasters, but you'd be surprised: very few people I know do.
*You've never seen The Used? Oh, we need to go! I've seen them twice and they are amazing. Very energetic. Sort of like New Found Glory, in that, the whole crowd gets super into it and you lose all track of what time it is and how long they've been playing.
*I'm a worrier too.
*I think the computer is one of those things where the more you try to stay away, the more you're drawn to it. If you make other plans that will prevent you from having the time to be online, that helps. Like meeting friends for dins or lunch, renting movies, etc.
Man, I sound like a deranged guidance counselor.
Shutting up now . . . .
Oh I'm petrified of rollercoasters! Mainly because the first "big" one I went on was the damn Batman one at Six Flags. My friend didn't even break me in with small ones, it was just "BAM" let's do it! lmao I had no voice from screaming on that thing! I think the next time I go to Canobie Lake Park I'll try the wooden one and then if that goes okay, the bigger ones!
I don't know why I've never seen them, but yeah we definitely have to go! lol they seem like they put on an awesome live show.
Aww that is a really good quote. I can see why that helps! I might have to start carrying it with me, too!
OMG You started out with Batman? Eee. That one is rough so, hon, if you can do that you should be able to do nearly anything! The only thing I would suggest you stay away from at least until you get more used to coasters is anything that shoots you through the ride backwards. Like a lot of the coasters now a days go forward and then head up a hill, and then you get dropped back through the ride backwards. Stay away from that until you're comfortable with something like Batman.
I looked it up and the legit quote is from the Bible and it is:
"God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And wisdom to know the difference."
And thank you for the quote - I want to make a little card or something and stick it in my wallet, cause that's such a good idea that you had carrying it with you!
I find it somewhat helpful to carry it. Not that I pull it out and read it often- cause I've memorized it- but it's just one of those things that's helpful to think about when you're getting worked up over dumb shit.
