Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
I don't think I ever have. I've considered going back to the free account but then I changed my mind!

I entered an art contest and got picked as one of the winners! That's never happened before!

It wasn't a contest on here. It was for one of my favorite performers, Blake Lewis. (If you don't know who he is, he was the beatboxing dude that was runner-up to Jordin Sparks on season 6 of American Idol. And he is AMAZING.) When I heard it was an art contest I was already in no matter what, but what made it even cooler was that he was picking the winners.

His new album is called "Heartbreak on Vinyl." And the contest was to create something that represents those words. (I uploaded my entry here today as a deviation. I held off uploading it here because it had to be anonymous until the winners were picked). So long story short, there was 2 winners and I was one of them. I found out yesterday when I was having a realllly crappy day and it made me feel so much better

Now the not fun stuff - my Grampa had a bump removed from his face that they tested and said was skin cancer. So they cut it all out and said they got everything. Now he's doing 10 days of radiation starting on the 30th, because they have to make sure it doesn't come back. They cut down to the bone and it'd really mess his face up if it comes back and they have to cut more out. So keep him in your prayers guys! He's tough, he already beat colon cancer. He'll be okay When will someone find a cure for this damn disease? Seriously! I know far too many people who have been affected by it, plus both my grandparents. I just wish that one day thy'll be like "whoa guys we found a cure! No more cancer!"

My uncle recently reconnected with an old friend of his. I knew him because the two of them babysat me sometimes when I was little, but a while back he moved away and they grew apart. My Mom actually babysat him and my uncle when they were kids, and he came over when she passed away and everything. Well come to find out, he is a tattoo artist now. Weird how things in life come together, huh? A couple days ago he asked me to draw some stuff for him. He wants to open a shop of his own soon and, um, yeah, AWESOME? I get to go watch him do a sleeve in a couple weeks and learn some pointers. The only sucky thing is he is kinda far away but he's looking to open a place closer around here. And you wanna know the REALLY cool thing? I'm gonna be able to get free tattoos. This is either very good or very bad. I'm gonna be covered lol. I so feel like it's cheating on my tattoo artist LOL but hey, times are tough, free is better than paying! And no I'm not an idiot, I wouldn't go to him if he sucked. He did one for my uncle yesterday and I like how it came out so I'm figuring out what I want to do for my next one. I'm so hoping and praying that he's able to find a place to open his own shop because if I was able to work there it would be a dream come true. I always thought it would be perfect if I could get in with a group of people when they FIRST open a shop because, and anyone who watches LA Ink will know what I'm talking about, it's so awkward and hard to find your nitch in a place where the artists are already like a tight-knit family. So I will keep you guys updated and keep my fingers crossed that things will go right for me for once in my life!

Un-FREAKING-believable!

I was so happy after the show. Because thinking back to when they broke up, I was literally fucking crushed over it. It was so good to see them being silly together again. I was sitting there thinking "aw this is the first time I'm seeing them without Mom" before blink started. And you know how they play music over the speakers during set changes? "Unforgiven" by Metallica came on randomly and shut off. I was like "oh yeah Mama's here in spirit!" lol

I wish I had been a bit closer. But they did shoot out guitar picks, so I got one and then realized on the way home that I had another down my bra LOL.

Panic! At the Disco were good live. Fall Out Boy were better than last time. And then it got SOOOOO loud for blink!

Travis always has crazy drum solos but man oh man, this was insane! I don't wanna ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet and is going to an upcoming show, but I have a video (I will post my vid links at the end so if you don't want to see, don't watch!) I ended up taking so many vids that I don't have the patience to upload them all. So far I just did Travis's solo, FOB's version of "Don't Stop Believin'" (Brendon sang with them) and "First Date" because Tom kept giggling, and changed the words so he kept saying "fart" in the lyrics. lmao I was laughing so much at their between-song banter, it was great! Oh and there were 2 guys in the crowd dressed as bananas, and they made sure to point them out when they played "What's My Age Again" So anywho, a few pics...

Let me just say...UH-MAZING! As always. I'm 5 for 5 now with seeing them and being front row! I strongly suggest that everyone should see them live, at least once, because you will never forget it. I swear they get better everytime. I love those guys.

They changed a few things from what they usually do at their shows, but it was still crazy and entertaining and fun as hell! My arms are all bruised from holding onto the barricade all night but I was not about to let anyone shove me out of my spot! The GA Floor setup was actually really organized. We were in a seperate line outside, which they wouldn't let us in until they saw that we actually had floor tickets. And once we were inside and after The Bravery played and Green Day came on, there still weren't that many people in the pit. Half the floor was pit, half the floor was seats and there was a barricade in front of the seats. Billie Joe told more people to come down because there weren't enough that's when I started getting banged around but it's alright, it's sooooo worth it! He had a toilet paper gun that he shot at us instead of the Super Soaker (which he had, but put it away) and yes, I grabbed some toilet paper. LOL it is on my concert posterboard with all my pics and memorabillia from the shows I've been to. So yes, it was a fun night and I can't wait till next time they come around!
