After much time and frustration, and going back and forth between this and 5 other drawings I'm working on, I think I've finally finished this. I am going to put it in a frame and give it to Kat when I go see her at her book signing on the 18th. (2 weeks away - yay!!!) Wish me luck, I'll try and get some pics
I hope so! She had me write my email on the back and some people that met her at the beginning of her book tour and gave her stuff are just now getting responses from her, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she writes to me!
Aww, that's very awesome of her. That makes me like her even more, you know? I'm sure she's just swamped with professional commitments and trying to attain some assemblance of a personal life....so the thought that she's collecting e-mails from people and really writing them totally rocks.
I think I love her. Think she's leave Nikki for me?
I wasn't expecting it at all. lol she looked at the drawing I gave her and saw my signature at the bottom (I signed it at the last second cause I had forgotten after I had already framed the damn thing!) and she was like "Oh you signed it, good! Write your email address on the back!" lol it was pretty cool because I was at the front of the line and am pretty sure I was the first person at that signing that gave her something. *feels special*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
